What happens in your first session

What happens in your first session The first session is the longest session and will last for 90 minutes and this is so that the Kinesiologist can discuss in detail the information that you have given to them prior to the appointment by completing the pre health questionnaire. They will take a comprehensive case history and then explain Applied Kinesiology to you and explain how the session will progress. This is to gain as much information as possible beforehand because although people may come for Kinesiology for similar symptoms their sessions can be very different.

The muscle response testing will be explained and demonstrated and then we focus on the 'goal" that the client wants as their main focus on for the first session. When carrying out the muscle testing the Kinesiologist is communicating with the body to investigate and is able to communicate and ask questions to the body to receive answers for what may be needed to gain homeostasis. This can be;
Structurally - bones muscles posture
Biochemically - water food what's in and on your body
Emotions - your thoughts feelings fears and phobias
Energetically - the invisible force of nature that is in and all around us....

Once a problem has been identified the Kinesiologist will work to correct and rebalance the body with gentle massage, holding neurovascular points, running meridian lines together with different structural and emotional techniques. In addition, trained in nutrition, they may also recommend changes in lifestyle and diet. The Kinesiologist looks for what the priority stressor is to then be able to use the appropriate correction for you.

After the session you will discuss what changes could be made for you to then be able to maintain the positive changes that have taken place during the session. This could be from making lifestyle changes, taking flower essences, using affirmations, certain supplements or given specific exercises.

I hope this makes it clear as to what to expect from your first session in the amazing therapy that is Kinesiology....I look forward to welcoming you to gaining homeostasis within!!

I would like to end just by saying the Kinesiologist only does 20% of the work because the 80% needs to be completed by the client to gain the sustainability of the sessions.

PLEASE NOTE: As with any alternative therapy Kinesiology is not a diagnostic tool and is not a substitute for seeing a medical doctor or health professional. If you have any health conditions, you should always consult with them first before seeing a Kinesiologist as well as keeping them informed with regards to any contraindications of any supplements that may come up for you when you are taking medications.
